Sustainability
“My goal is to build a business that can last for 200 years. To do that, we have to care for the land first. You only have one chance to maintain your soil and vines; treat them like they can live forever.”
Stoller is committed to leadership in premium winemaking and sustainable environmental practices.
The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System™ was developed by the U.S. Green Building Council as a voluntary, consensus-based national standard for high-performance, sustainable building. In 2006, Stoller became the world’s first LEED® Gold certified winemaking facility.
Stoller Family Estate is proud to B Corp certified. Companies certified as B Corps meet the highest standard of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability. The certification continues the commitment to preserve our legacy through protecting the environment and enriching our community.
LIVE (Low-Input Enology & Viticulture) is a non-profit organization providing education and independent 3rd-party certification for vineyards and wineries.
